Builder screw up on gas vs oil

We recently went to contract on a new construction in East Meadow, New York. The contract stated that the heating would be gas, fireplace would be gas and range gas. The foundation was just poured today and it was just brought to our attention that there is no natural gas in the area which means that we are stuck with oil. The builder/ agent apologized for the oversight "typo" and said that he will throw in a few upgrades totaling $2500 to make up for it. we have already put 10% down, used our attorney for countless hours over contract negotiation had a preliminary title search. The builder said we can back out if we would like. I asked if he would install an in ground propane tank to run to our fireplace, outside grill and kitchen range which he said that he would. Is this enough or should I ask for more? How do I value the additional cost to heat my home for years to come?
