Why call a technician. If I can do it you can too. Open the oven door, take out 2 screws on the inside top and 2 on the inside bottom. Pull the oven door off the hinges with your hands on each side and pull evenly. Be sure to hold the parts of the door together and flat. Lay the door flat and open the end to pull out a glass piece, the one with all the little dots encircling the see through area. Remember that the rough side goes to the inside. Wash both pieces of glass with comet or similar. Wash any other grease or mess with an SOS pad and finish everything off with Windex. Put the glass back in and be sure the see through part is in so you can see into the oven without a band of black showing because you might have turned it half a turn. Now screw the big 2 screws back and be sure the glass isn't between the holes or you will crack your glass. They screw into the handle. You did clean the handle didn't you? Now pull the door hinges down from the stove and slide a big 3" nail or larger in the back of the hinge sideways to force the hinge to stay pointing out. Now lift the stove door up and slide the bottom onto the hinge evenly or it will bind up. Don't force it. Now the other 2 little screws with washers go back in the holes you took them out of. They attach the door to the hinge. During all of this process never touch any glass with your fingers, only the edges. Close the door and give yourself a pat on the back.

I've had 95103 since May 2017. I'm very happy with it. I was complaining above that it seemed slow...that was in comparison with my mom's GE induction cooktop that I got to use briefly last July. I've been cooking on mine longer, and used my mom's GE more over the holidays, and I think they both cook well. I do like that the Kenmore has knobs instead of buttons for the burners, though I'm sure I'd adjust to the buttons if I had a different range. I also like the convection oven. Sometimes I wish I'd gotten the slide-in version to avoid the small gap with the countertop, but I think the free-standing was $1000 cheaper. I think the big question is reliability and how long it lasts...still too early for me to say.

Thanks for your suggestions. Weissman, I don't think I've ever seen an oven wi/o a glass door. Sjhockeyfan, some ovens have the vent holes on the inside face of the oven door at the top, so when you open the door to take out a bubbling lasagna or apple pie, it can easily drip into those holes. It's not something I thought about until it happened to me. That drip drove me nuts for 6 months or so, until I finally called Kenmore to see if anything could be done. That's when I learned that you could unscrew the door to get to the inner layer of glass. I then wrongly assumed that you could do that with all brands and forgot about it. Until I began looking for a wall oven to go with a Bosch induction cooktop. I thought I had settled on the Bosch 500 when I read the review from women who had done exactly what I did with the Kenmore. Sure enough I called Bosch to confirm that you could not clean between the glass. That is a deal breaker for me. Laat2, even though taking the door apart was not the easiest, I was able to do it myself AND get rid of that darn drip! I just read another post saying that Bosch may be introducing a side opening wall oven in the Spring...maybe something to consider?

I have just disassembled my range door to clean all the layers of glass. I have done a partial break down in the past, but this time I took all the panels apart. I have them together but have a few questions before I put the last bit together. regarding the double paned set that is wrapped in a metal channel, I reconnected the tab. I left the wrap just a smidge loose to account for the expansion and contraction of the materials. I noticed that it was a little loose when I took it apart. My Question, is this thinking correct? Regarding putting the panel that has one sheet of glass that mounts in a metal frame and covers the double paned glass back on. This is not the exterior pane and door front. This inner panel that covers the double glass set is a large metal panel that gets affixed to the door frame with screws. My Question, do I tighten these screws down tight or leave a bit of ease to accommodate expansion and contraction due to heating and cooling? I will then put the final glass panel on with the skin of the oven door, without problem. It all cleaned up nicely and comes together great, just wondering about the tightness of the screws due to heat fluctuations and glass/metel.
