Kohler body sprayers

we are building a new home. our shower is approximately 6' x 5'. Our original plan was to have 2 shower heads but I recently saw these body sprayers. Plumber says we can do these if we eliminate one shower head. Has anybody used these...what do you think?

There are a number of companies that make the body sprays. I have the Hansgrohe Bodyvettes but there are lots of others. Some are real jets and others are more gentle. Some can be turned off individually with a stop feature (which is nice). There are a diversity of viewpoints on body sprays. I happen to really like them and use them all the time in conjunction with my rainhead. I like the feeling of getting the water from the sides as well as the top. We also have a third handshower which operates separately but we don't use it simultaneously with the rainhead/body sprays. So it sounds like you would be configuring so that you could use your regular head together with the sprays. As I said, while there are many fans of the body sprays, there are also lots of people who think the body sprays are a novelty or useless. If you are going to use them, look for the following features: (1) stops at the spray itself so you can turn each particular one on or off if you want to, (2) adjustability so that you can control the angle and (3) ease of cleaning. Also make sure that you position the sprays in the right place vertically and so that you don't have them aimed at your shower door.

90% of the people who install body sprays don't end up using them. Two shower heads, one with a handheld would be my choice. Also, your shower is much too large for comfort. It will feel cold because there is too much space for air to move around. 48"x60" is plenty large enough for a shower for two with two shower heads and is small enough that the steam heats it up enough to not feel cold.

This is a question about a kitchen faucet but it seems that the expertise and wisdom about faucets manifests mostly on the bathroom forum so hope you will share your views with me here. The Kohler Hi Rise collection includes a separate spray faucet which looks like a spray accessory but has its own "on-off" and functions as a separate faucet. I really like the idea of it but was wondering if anyone had any experience or knew of other brands that have a similar concept. Also --is the Hi Rise series a good quality faucet? I've read that Kohler sells a range from overpriced/so-so quality to some really nice stuff. What about the Hi Rise series???? Thanks so much . . .

Sprayer was found to have several issues. It has a LCD readout with a knob (potentiometer) for adjusting pressure. The numerical value shown in the LCD is NOT line pressure but simply a numerical value. The line pressure was obviously dropping. Tomorrow the sprayer will have a new pump kit. The pop-off valve was also found to be faulty and not allowing full pressure. Yes on the screening sierraeast.

You cannot add a sprayer to a faucet that does not already have one. Kohler offers a sprayer that runs independently, but it may not go with the style of your faucet, and it is not cheap. For the price and sacrifice of not matching, you're better off buying a new faucet. Kohler actually came out with a nice bridge style in their artifacts collection that is really reasonably priced.
