Hello, everyone.

We have a couple of items that I am curious about as to their origin or age.

The first is a rather large piece of furniture that has been in my family for around 40 years. When I was a child, my father brought that piece of furniture home one day. My mother was less than impressed and asked him what he was going to do with that monstrosity. Needless to say, that name stuck - and has been affectionately referred to ever since as 'the monstrosity'. I love the piece of furniture and it has come along in every move. I think everything is original except an amateur replacement of one of the door handles. Any ideas?

This "little lady" was discovered just this past summer at a dump close to where we live. Just had to bring her home with me. My intent is to clean her up and redress her.....but I would love to know a bit more about her (and she needs a name!).

TIA for any information that anyone can share. As I mentioned, I am curious more than anything; not concerned about value (if any).
