I have plans for various things to build for camping, which i give freely to anybody who asks for them!

BUT!!

I must have an e-mail address for me to send them! I do not have the mental capacity to figure out how to send them any other way except by e-mail!! Or "snail-mail!"

I will NOT use your e-mail address for any other purpose, I will NOT sell, give, convey, or get you involved in any nefarious scheme to take away anything from you! I am only interested in helping fellow campers!

Thought I'd add my 2 cents. If you buy from LLBean (great return policy!!!) or Cabellas, some people think the prices are too high. I found with LLBean, and I am sure it is the same with Cabellas, if you get the credit card,and sign up for e-mail flyers, the sale prices are very reasonable. The credit card purchases get free shipping and the (APR)rate is awesome. (Of corse we all pay off our purchases before End of Month:))Also, they have something like LLBean Bucks. But mainly, the sales flyers they e-mail me are very reasonable priced.

your email address was probably picked up by a spambot. it's an automated program that searches websites & message boards. it collects (harvests) email addresses by collecting anything the follows the usual email address pattern: EmailAddress@url.com the program looks for the @ symbol & collects the adjacent text. these programs are so effective that spammers don't pay for email addresses, so i doubt it if anyone from this forum sold your email address to spammers. so far, the majority of people that post to this forum seem to be honest & helpful. we would really hate for you to leave this forum with the thought that someone took advantage of your generosity. just make sure you never post your email address to any forum or blog. Well, this is not truly "repurposed" but maybe sort of. In 2004 I rented the Riverhouse from a friend for a year. The house was on tall open legs, because located right on the river. The a/c and heat ducts came through the floors in front of the windows. So I could not put much furniture there without blocking air flow. In the bedroom, I also did not have enough wall space for my 66" wide 14 drawer chest. So I put the bed in the middle of the room centered under the ceiling fan. I BACKED THE TALL CHEST UP TO THE HEADBOARD. I also painted the back of the chest lavender. Someone else might want to wall paper it or cover the back with mirror tiles. By doing this, I created a small private dressing area where I could be hidden even if someone was sitting in the living room and my bedroom door was not closed. I really enjoyed this arrangement. Essentially, the tall chest became a room divider. Is that repurposing? I also cut some tall bamboo from the yard of the house we ended up buying, also on the river, and I built a canopy frame from the bamboo. I hung my beloved Mombasa mosquito net curtain from the bamboo frame. That worked fine, but my engineering skills were not up to par, because one night the raffia wrappers holding it all in place just FELL. It was a good idea while it lasted!!

Wow, I really love Kathryn Ireland's work. I had no idea she did a boot camp. If the extra money spent wouldn't cause your family all that much heartburn I would definitely go for it, even though it seemed disorganized at first. It might be worth the $$ just to hang out and pick her brain. As an aside - I had a somewhat familiar experience at my workplace. There was a woman (who worked in a different locale and whom I'd never met in person) who I needed to do something professionally for one of my research projects (run a focus group). All through the planning she seemed totally disorganized and non-committal. But when the time came to do the deal, she was phenomenal and I learned a lot by watching her. Please keep us posted - I hope you go!!

I have sent out plans to several folks who have asked for them, but, maybe, they are afraid to open the attachments in the messages, and the letters have been returned1 Also, the addresses you sent have been wrong, and the letters have been returned!
My "resident" e-mail program in our computer is Outlook Express, which means-that is how the drawings, plans, etc. are sent, with attachments! It is registered in my wife's name, which is not Jones!
If you are that scared of attachments, please refrain from asking for the plans!

could you please send me your plans..I have just started to camp at the age of 67 and enjoy every minute of it..my first time was last week at a local camp site..being the owner of a parrot and a dog the cost of boarding them out got so much...now we can take them with us

Please, please, please, cease and desist asking for any and all plans for kamp kitchens. I am not sending any more plans out!! PERIOD!!
And, can the owners of this forum please delete the original offer about kamp kitchens, and anything pertaining to them?
