Help please! Robins

I am not sure if I am posting this in the proper forum.
Yesterday a big bird attacked a Robin's nest in my tree.
They fell to the ground. I know at least 3 were walking around sort of stunned, and one was dead.

The parent birds are hovering around, but I lost track of the wee ones, hopefully they are in safe-hiding with the parents tending to them.

They had feathers and could walk ( I don't think they hopped, and they certainly couldn't fly.)
I do not think they had their eyes open yet :o(

Every time I go into the backyard the parents will swoop down at me. I have 2 dogs that I have not been letting out into the yard.
I guess my questions are:
: Will these babies likely survive?
: Since they can walk and stay upright, how much longer until they can fly?
: Will the parents literally attack if I let the grandchildren play outside?

I have some answers!
:Yes if you leave them alone and keep predators away (cats, dogs,etc).
:They hop from the nest at ten days, but it's another 13-15 days until they become strong fliers.
:Yes, but if you keep scaring the parents, they may just abandon the babies, so be cautious.

I believe the babies are still alive because the parents are constantly watching the backyard from the fence.

Except for the day this happened, Friday, I have not been in the yard and have kept the kids and dog out.
My granddaughter had started a garden though, so I wanted to know if it was safe for her to tend it....sigh.

The thing is: They did not hop from the nest on purpose....they were attacked. So it could be another couple weeks before we (and the dog) can enter our backyard eh?
Sigh.....all for the love and worry of the wee robins we will do this, ha.
I find it amazing that they are still alive as we had a big 2 day storm. I'm thinking the parents rounded them up and have them safe under a shrub or somewhere.

I'm in Iowa, and for the past 2 years Robins have stayed here all winter. Not a whole flock, and they weren't here every day, but enough to tell me they are tougher than we think! And this past winter was the 9th coldest on record. Thank you for the suggestion of fruits, Surya55. I'll try to feed them next year.

I can answer your question about what they look like. Young robins are a bit splochier than the adults. They are about the same size. Here is a picture I took last year of a young robin in a tree that the parents were still feeding.

It depends on where the garden is. Robins aren't scared of humans that much. I'm sure if the garden isn't right by the babies roost she can tend it. Let's hope the babies survive :) I have seen two bird families perish this year :( I am about to put up two birdhouses.
