There is really nothing you can do, other than send out another robin, this is a risk we take when sending out a robin.some people just don't play fair. just hope the seeds went to good use.I have lost a few over the years, you can report them to the p.o for postal fraud, sometimes just the threat of this is enough. good luck. carol

i wish that it was just seeds the box had over 45++ items that are multi items(doubled/or more) which was about 100++ toys and gifts, there was only about 5 packets of seeds in it.. it's heart breaking that i can't fix this...thank you for your repy...erica

Hi Erica. I'm not even in this RR and I am annoyed that this person did that. I think you should file postal fraud charges on her and let her face the consequences. You should have her address, report her to the postal service. Not fair to you or the others. What a shame that this person was so unreliable to do this!!

if you have the confirmation slip you can show it was delivered
bottom line, it was accepted in good faith and it should be returned as such
how desparate that someone would be so low, lower than sludge, to steal, especially from kids. so pathetic.
i agree it's a chance you take, but it's also thievery, especially since the person acknolwedged that they received and would send. as backup to your complaint with the post office, attach copies of the emails back and forth between you and the person that delibertly kept it. it's more evidence of their act of fraud and the post office WILL press charges. it's considered a federal offense.

it costs you NOTHING to file the complaint but costs the recipient EVERYTHING!

sorry this happened to you, but it appears it's been the thing of late, desperate losers in need of seeds and such.

i often think about starting one of these type boxes, but then i read these type of posts and change my mind real quick.

Would it be justice to provide those who had not yet recieved the box with the address and email of the party who still has it? It seems only fair that the kids get what they deserve --it's just awful that had to happen. How sad. Kids don't deserve to be dissapointed that way so young in life. I hope whoever it was that didn't pass it on--can live with it.

Ok any hooo.. I need help If anyone would like to help me make this up to the kids I would appreciate it. But I just canÂt afford to do it all over again for all 9 kids. Some have more than one child in the house that are playing.. So I would love it if some of you wonderful people would like to send something to one of these kids on the list.. That way they all get a surprise from a different person.. Would anyone be interested in helping me? It can be a toy-plants-candy-movie etc. Anything child safe and fun.. Lol

My kids and I were in this robin early on, so I haven't been following it since it left us. We enjoyed it so much... it's a shame that some kids have been left out due to the lost robin.

My kids would love to put a package together for NH--5.Monique & 6.Kenny since they are the same age. Also, if you can send me Linsey's address, that would be great. My daughter wrote her a special note and included it in the box, but I guess that's lost now as well.

According to USPS website, my package was delivered to Debbie today.
That seems strange since mine had farther to travel than Sue's.

this is really for the birds getting so you can't even rely on prioity mail anymore still says it was excepted at the hastings po where i sent it out on monday the other I sent to arkansaw had arrived on tuesday so figure that will you and I mailed them the same day .
well I sure hope it gets there tomorrow or I will be

Yes Debbie_SW_OK, Debbie did get the you box yesterday. She just loved everything. The jump rope is really cool. We never seen one you adjust like that. It got a good work out last night since I had to babysit and had more kids in the house then I needed. We stared to read Heidi last night. Debbie loves to read. I wanted to read Anne of Green Gables first, Debbie wins.

Debbie also got crayon shape erasers, 2 sizes of black paper pads and gel pens, gummie bears, smiley pencil case with pencils, sharpener, and ruler, a flavored lip-gloss and gem sticks. What a big she had.

I just wanted to say thank you for Monique and Kenny. This could not have come at a better time. Things have been a little off at the house with a member of the family going back and forth to the hospital and doctors office.

They are truely enjoying everything that they have received.
