About me: My name is Laura -- my husband,seven kids and our dog, live in a house in the burbs with a big yard.
The gardening bug hit me early (helping my father on our 1/3 acre land, spending summers visiting with my Grandparents and mucking around in the dirt, discovering the wonder of actually growing peanuts and potatoes, picking apples off the trees and corn out of the KS fields.) Well, the gardening bug has only increased it's grip on my brain as the years have progressed, and I've had wonderful community garden experiences, and now have my own square footage to expand into! My other baby is my garden and it's where I find solace, well most of the time..(thistles, grasshoppers, and aphids aren't soothing but ..) I look forward to meeting you all and sharing, plants, seeds, stories, and friendships.
