Can you identify this?

I'm not sure if this is a tree or something else. It's leaves fold up at night, but are not sensitive to touch during the day. It has bright red flowers and then some bean-like seed pods. When I purchased it I was told that it was a Gallita de Panama. But after looking extensively on the internet, I cannot find anything. I have pictures available but do not know how to post them here.

Many plants leaves fold up at night. It's called photonasty. Maybe it's a type of mimosa tree, a Pride of Barbados or a Royal Poinciana?

I post photos using an image hosting site like Photobucket or Picasa. If you use Photobucket I can tell you how to post.

Karyn is right, as I saw a book that lists gallito as another name for poinciana (caesalpinia) pulcherrima.

You haven't stated what is wrong with the fan or what needs to be repaired. Based on the part you are showing, I assume the light no longer works. Does this fan have an LED light or is your intention to convert it to an LED to save energy? I am not a fan expert, but I an not aware of a residential ceiling fan having a ballast. It might be possible if it uses a fluorescent bulb. This fan looks like a Hampton Bay fan in Home Depot. You can purchase a new one for about $180. A quote to take down the old one and replace it with a similar one for $1000 seems a bit high in my opinion.

Could it be "President Herbert Hoover" Climbing rose version? President Herbert Hoover Cl. – Rogue Valley Roses I know the pictures have pink/red outer petals but one of the photos OP has shows red/darker orange before opening and often my roses don't match the photo colors. https://garden.org/plants/view/3768/Rose-Rosa-President-Herbert-Hoover/ Garden.org says it's 4 feet, but a commenter says it's really tall and RVR has a cilmbing version. Or it could be Mr. Nash Rose (Rosa 'Mr. Nash') in the Roses Database - Garden.org All I know its they are definitely not Westerland or Polka - I have those & while they're "orangey climbing roses" they're both frilly and Westerland is almost neon. Blush Noisette does well for me, but Champneys' has never grown tall and produces only a few blooms in a season. Its flowers are always pink with fewer petals. The Musk ancestor is one of my best performers, both the double I bought and the single I grew from seed. If the wonderfully-fragrant rose is one of the two, then it was probably sold as Blush Noisette. I recall thinking that the Blush Noisette at Lewis Ginter seemed to have larger, prettier blooms than mine. I don't know enough about Hybrid Musks to identify a variety which resembles this rose. If it's any help, we did our own Redwood fence/gate. Only pic I could find of it I also did this Redwood bridge for the koi pond. as you can see, it's raw redwood w/just the varnish over it. (and you must use a good varnish for any exterior wood. I like these two. Sikkens is also good. some of them come w/a tint to them, but I didn't need it for this The varnish should have UV properties to it. Penofin is another one w/stain/sealer together. You might try that one if you want to change the color. And try using redwood rather than cedar. it should hold up a bit better
