Oh forget it! This is so frustrating...

Valerie, My Mother's Rose is much more coral with cherry pink edges than the ones on HMF. The color depends on the temperature. There is no bluish tones on mine either. Colors are deeper in the spring and fall. Unfortunately, I don't have a photo of my own to share. Here are some photos of new growth that I just took today. This is not brand new and has been growing a while so it is starting to green up but the stems, thorns and leaves all start out a deep burgundy color. There is not much new growth on my roses right now because my weather is starting to cool down here. We even had a light frost a couple of nights ago. It has no scent at all. As far as repeating, I have no clue. Husband and I discovered it while talking a walk through the neighborhood. I've never noticed it before as we never take that rout for our walks. That was about 3 weeks ago when we saw it and when I took the picture the blooms were sort of spent. I will have to keep an eye out on it and see if it reblooms. I checked out some photos of Dr Huey and it looks like it really may be it although some photos show it a little bit more deep red then my neighbor's. I guess I will have to wait and see if it reblooms
