Rose Rosette Virus.....

I noticed this problem for the first time in my rose garden last year. After learning about the problem and reading comments concerning the issue, I decided to just cut the stem back that showed the symptoms and let the shrub rose continue to grow as others said they did the same. The suggested cure is to remove the rose completely. Well....this season I've seen more signs...I cut out the ugly stems and once again I chose to keep my roses. They seem to recover after prunning takes place and the look normal again. Who wants to remove their entire rose garden...I can't afford to go out and by all new roses again! Just wondering how others have chosen to deal with this virus???? Thanks for sharing.
