Right after I change the International Date Line....

Oh god, it's happened again. I couldn't make this stuff up:

I make a lot of garden-related lists this time of year. You know -things get crowded, need a better placement... I write it all down to get to in the fall or spring.

The other morning I made a pretty big list of all the transplanting I want to get to, and I left the list on the counter. My husband was putting bread into the toaster and noticed what I'd written. Suddenly, his eyes narrow and he turns very very slowly to look at me:

"Move June forward????" he asks.

I laughed so hard-- couldn't decide whether to divulge my plot to achieve world domination by altering the calendar, or just admit I was planning to re-arranging hostas.

Thank goodness for this forum: no one else understands a word I say!

I always remove the battery, use Stab-bil in the fuel systems,and replace used oil,prior to seasonal storage.Haven't had the problems mentioned.Engines with outside mounted contact points,perhaps the point surfaces become oxidized during periods of non-use.I still believe "in The ounce of prevention thing.But for those that don't,fight with the self inflicted problems,or get on the waiting list at the reapair shop,and bring pleanty $$$$. tbk

You are both right...and I don't like the fridge or the oven in the aisle. After much sketching last night, I came up with this idea. What if I flipped the dining and kitchen spaces? On the othe forum, there was concern that it would be much nicer to have another access to the sunroom, besides through the laundry/mudroom. This way, I have three 30" french doors, with the left one opening. The sunroom is a few feet bigger, to allow room for the door opening and the clearance around the very small wood stove. What do you think? Any ideas/suggestions? Thanks for looking at yet another plan...I have to finalize things, so I can show our contractor and get a budget pulled together. Oh, and the other thing I like about this plan...the marble work table is back! :)

Thanks tfitz1006. He has a visiting schedule but this country is not strict on such things and so once in a while he just appears and finds me home without any notice. The charges for assault in this country are very harsh, I thought i punished him enough by moving out. I considered my daughter loves him and if anything happened to him as a result of being in jail, i would have to answer to my daughter and i didn't want that. So i let him see her against my wish of course.He pays child support. I agree with you i try to focus on my daughter and myself and do things that distract me.

And the Night Before Christmas, right after I got home from the Christmas Pageant (on my list!) and baked the Christmas Cookies and put out the Candy I would turn on the Lights on the Tree and check the Stocking and wait for a Surprise!!!

This is really funny.

Not trying to hijack but...
OHHHHHH what a grand idea for a collection of everything calendar related!

After I read someone on this forum has a hosta for each letter of the alphabet (cool idea), I thought it would be fun to make collections based on something else as not to copy.

So far:
Mice
Quilting & Sewing (SIT, Kiwi Gold Thimble, etc.)
Sailing (Sailor Take Warning, Viking Ship, etc.)
Patriotic (Revolution, Independence, Patriot, etc.)
Fun Food and Drink (Orange Marm, Pineapple UDC, Cookie and Cracker Crumbs, etc.)
and now the Calendar and Holidays (whoo hooo!!!!!)

And then I think it would be fun to collect Tetraploids.

Oh where to begin? I suppose with the mice...

Exactly Janice! I'm afraid after 22 years of marriage, he just assumes there's nothing I wouldn't try.
