It's not a squirrel... Culprit caught red... WINGED?

I thought for sure that a squirrel had been digging in my hostas, looking for tasty bugs and worms. Though I hadn't really seen any around lately. I have an owl, whom I call Frankie, that stays in the tree a lot for the last couple years. I have heard and seen a lot of songbirds and they are getting BOLD, too! They like to sit right on the patio and on the plants. I always look out the window lately whenever I go out because I had a close call a couple of weeks ago... One almost flew inside! The cats were ready for it, too. So I was so glad it stopped and flew the other way! Whew! But, this lady, I caught red... winged in my Paul's Glory digging for worms yesterday. She caught one, too! Good birdie!!

I'm pretty sure she's flipping me off here??
