I make a great cookie, but fail with frostings. Maybe I never found the right recipe. But IMO, gingerbread cookies need frosting to complete their deliciousness. Ideally, this would be a quick and simple recipe which could be drizzled onto the cookie or perhaps spread thinly with a table knife, and then it would harden up enough to pack in a box to take to work and share without getting smeared and messy.

Anybody have a frosting recipe that matches this description?
