Full StoryTo Ken Rogers, I have ordered but not recieved the combo acid blend. I today did make a tropical fruit preserve made primarily with green mangoes and a Mexican papaya. The flavors of the green mangoes were "flat" as was the Mexican papaya which tastes more like a melon. I made a triple batch and on discovering the unexciting flat taste, added 2 teaspoons of citric acid. That helped. Added 2 more and then it tasted great. Thanks for those on this forum for sharing that maybe little known but important trick for me today. Regards - Jim in So. California
