Identification plant 2

Got it many years ago as a variegated leaf vine with beautiful lavender white flowers that open sequentially on an inflorescence .. It was continually pruned by landscapers and the variegated leaf is gone for the past few years . It grows with my jasmines and blooms winter time..,thank you for the help..

It looks like what some call Ganges primrose (asystasia gangetica). There are two varieties. Yours looks like the one with quilted leaves.

Thank you so much.. It is the second link from richardlyons nursery that I bought. It had variegated leaves when I got it. Now all I have is green leaves. I think either the variegated got pruned off or it reverted back. That is weird that it has only green leaves now, because I bought it for the variegated leaves as much as the flowers... Thanks again.

Is there a mint which has little button flowers? ... No, not that I'm aware of. It looks nothing like any type of mint to me. I know what you mean jaynine - it has a sort of Verbenaceae look to the flowers but they're just not clear enough to be sure. Is this meant to be hardy in UK? OP has posted another picture. I have successfully transplanted Lycopodiums, some by accident, i.e., they were with other plants that I had dug, so I didn't really take great care. I think having sufficient moisture at the new site may be key, although getting roots will always be a factor. LOL!

Thank you floral_uk. I just read something funny about motherwort. It's used as an herbal remedy for irritation and anxiety, but they said it's hard to get an irritable person to take the bad-tasting stuff unless you hide it in something! Heidi
