Can I grow lantana in the shade?

I'm trying build a garden to eliminate a grassy area under and oak and sickly East Palatka holly (see picture). I don't use sprinklers so the St. Augustine just doesn't seem to do well in that shade. I'd like add have some flowers too. Coincidentally I have some white lantana that needs thinning out. Do you think they will do well in this location? (Clearwater, Tampa Bay area, Florida)

I'm really trying to recycle plants we already have. So far I have transplanted a small white crepe myrtle, some white ginger rhizomes, elephant ears, and a chunk of macho fern. The gardenia and the crotons are new purchases. The Sabal palm is an accidental that sprouted there on it's own.

Apologies for the cell phone photo quality. Work in progress...
