Freezing basil & garlic to make pesto later

Hi,

The nights are getting cool and I wanna go ahead and harvest all the basil I can. I have plenty of garlic from my garden as well. In the past I've processed the basil with the EVOO and frozen it in ice trays but I haven't added the garlic until I get ready to make the pesto.

I'd like to go ahead and add the garlic as well this time. Any reason why I shouldn't?
