Odd 'finds' while digging in da dirt today

Been working on one side of our yard just behind the fence and gate...if y'all recall. (removing schefflera! Ugh!)

Dug out two and dragged a HUGE pot left behind by the previous owners, which contained a 10+ ft. tall Fox-tail.

A TS that blew through here last year blew the palm right over, so I've been starting new ones from the parent.

I finally get the thing out from against the house and what do I see sitting on top of the roots/soil?

I know its blurry...but, doesn't that look like a large bird's bill?

Its about 5" in length.

Yikes!

Then, while planting a couple Ruellia brittoniana 'Katie's Dwarf', I find these two tiny eggs on top of the soil.

The larger of the two is barely a half inch.

Dunno what they are either...bird or snake or........???

Thennnnnnnnnnnnn...I move some larger potted plants around out front and I spy THIS!

Double yikes!

R.I.P. :)

That's it for me today.

LOL

At least I didn't spy any snakes.

*phew!
