Leftover pickling brine

Well it was pickling day again here in PA. I was working on some fall crops and was able to pick off a big bag of cukes again. This time I made Dill Sandwich Slices from the Ball Book. Because I usually end up having more cukes then brine I made a double batch. I found with Kosher Dill Spears I always need a 2nd batch and FINALLY made a note on my recipe to do it EVERY time. However, with the Sandwich Slices I ended up with only 1 extra jar above the recipes 5 pints. So, what should I do with the rest of my brine? I have it in the fridge now. How long will it last in there? I don't know how long until I have enough cukes to do something else. I could always run to a farmers market to get some more and make spears or chips or something creative to use up the brine. But I want to know how long it will last or if anybody has any creative ideas. Thanks!
