I planned on going to the Tampa swap, but as Tony said, it seems quiet. Since no one is interested in any of my plants, I am not sure if I should do that long drive at all :-/

PLEASE don't cancel your trip to the Tampa swap! I'm going to be there - my first one! I'm eager to meet everyone. I have a few cuttings of herbs (basil, oregano, stevia, lemon balm),purple firespike, Philippine violet, red and pink pentas, pink polka-dot plant, pencil cactus, and a few coleus. My stuff is all common stuff and I haven't spoken up for trades because, well, I'm new and I just want to meet up and see someone else's gardens. If I come home with any new plants that will be frosting on the cake. Oh yeah, I'll bring some mini cuban sandwiches!

I am planning on attending and also bringing some family along that live in Temple Terrace to introduce them to plant swaps.

If no one needs to bring anything specific, bring what you like to share and perhaps maybe a chair to sit on.

I think this all indicates that this will be one serious plant swap with not much time for munchies etc etc.

We're still on here in Tampa (My house) 417 Chippewa Ave, Tampa FL 33606 (Davis Islands).

I think the high heat has sapped our strength - it's been damaging to my garden. My beautiful key lime is showing signs of dying off - from the bottom up - slowly. I'm just hoping it's the heat and my forgetfulness in watering it?

Again, we're still on - come one come all...but I would recommnd/suggest that anything you bring to eat be light as opposed to heavy.

Well, worked four HOT hours yesterday getting the backyard to a somewhat presentable condition. This high heat has really browned things - please be gentle in your judgements (ouch).

Everything is ready to go for Saturday - I'll put signs out on the main street - easy to find.

sorry I have not been on, but fridays storms knocked out my internet connection and they can't get anyone out to take a look at it till tuesday. I am at my parents house using their computer.

I am excited for the swap. Hopefully more people will chime in and say if they are coming or not.

Hopefully I will have the internet back tomorrow and I will check back then.

I've been out of town, then recovering from being out of town. I do very much plan on being there! Tony, I have your colius, so you have to show.
I'll bring what I can, but this year has been "sickie" year for me, so it won't be quite the richness that I wanted to bring.

Abendwolke, I'd love some of that unidentified succulent, as well as a new start of that yellow datura (mine is gone), if you have them available. The yellow bulbine caught my eye, too.

I am able to make the Tampa swap! I cant make the Ft Myers one.

Looking forward to seeing the long awaited Coleus plants. I have no idea what to even expect. I will be bringing some coleus as well.

Will be bringing wifey and 3 relatives from the Tampa area for their 'first swap' . They have nice plants and will be bringing good eats as well.

I plan on going to the Tampa and to Cindee's too. I am very excited cause I need lots of plants. I don't have much to trade yet, but I will bring what I have. I can bring a cooler with sodas and water if anybody wants or I can bring something to eat. I have not heard much either. Let me know what everybody prefers sodas or food???

YEAH, I have interent again!!!! YOu don't realize how much you use something until you don't have it anymore.

I am happy to share plants, but unfortunately my mind reading powers are no longer working (ha ha). So speak up now if there is something specific you would like.

It doesn't matter to me if anyone would like to take a tour of my yard, just don't expect Selby gardens or something. My gardens are only a few years old. And they are not happy with all this heat.
If anyone is interested please let me know so that I am prepared for you to come over. Prepeared meaning, pull some weeds, mow my lawn, etc.
