I got a huge box today from Marie(Wynative). I was so excited opening it all up!! Let's see, here's what all was inside: first, all the bulbs!! Two kinds of daffs, 'St. Patrick's Day' and 'Geranium'. And SIX different types of caladiums. Wow! I really have been wanting some caladiums, now I have 6 different kinds! Now I have to look them all up to see what they look like. :))) Next, a really cute little porcelain tea lite house that I love, shaped like an Easter egg. (my mother came in and peeked in my box as I was opening it, and she fell in love with it, too, hehe.) And it has a battery powered "candle" that flickers just like a real candle, so when you put it inside, it looks like there's a real candle burning. Too neat, it is so adorable! Next, two Hen and Chicks plants. I love these, and my grandmother loves them, too, thank you! Also, a really precious garden statue, of a bunny sitting on a rock, and it says "May All Your Weeds Be Wildflowers". It is so cute, I absolutely love it!! Now I have to find the perfect place in the garden for it. :)) Then, and this might be my favorite, a clear keepsake box, and in the lid, is a beautiful embroidered sparkly green (my favorite color!) design, with my first initial "S" on it. This is just beautiful, I really really love it. Did you embrioder it yourself?? I wish I was better at making things like that, but I really stink at them, lol. And inside the box, was a pack of Rainbow Carrot seeds, a really pretty little hummingbird windchime, a heart-shaped pin with a dove on it, (my mom asked if she could have it, lol,) and Cadbury Eggs, MMMMMM! (Uh oh, one is missing already. I wonder what happened to it?? *looks innocent*) And lastly, a huge pack of Peeps, which will give me a great sugar rush, LOL.

Wow, I am out of breath!!! heehee. Marie, you are the greatest bunny pal I could've gotten! Some not so great things have happened in my life recently, and I was really upset today. And getting your package really made my day. I absolutely LOVE it all, THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! :)))

Okay, Okay can I get out of time out:) I have been outside today all day and I even got to start to rototill the veggie garden. I hope to get some radishes in tomorrow. We had fresh asparagus and fruit salad with strawberries for supper and grilled out some pork. So I am in the summer time mood. Hope that Joy comes through and starts feeling better. I will hopefully get out and pick up some surprises for the girls, I know that they were looking foreward to their bunny sprises.But with them sick, we probably will be stuck at home.

Well the Easter bunny hopped all the way from Ansley Neb to Lineville, Iowa . Bet he's sure tired as he was packing quite a load.I will try and tell you what all I got from gardening with a baby, Stacy. I have it all on my computor desk and it is full, she said she was makeing it special and she did that, I received, a box of peeps, a bag of choclate kisses,2 packages of mini picture frames for my grand children the kind you can stick on you ref.4 and 5 to a package very cute, a darling little crocheted angel white and mauve, on a clothes pin, 2 boxes malted milk mini eggs, a plastic egg with something in, I beleive silly putty,a pair of gaerden gloves. 1 pkg of watermelon chewy candy,3 easter cookie cutters, a rabbit, a carrot and an egg with a chick peeping out a "welcome to my garden" stake for my flower garden, a box of 16 easter ornaments, all pertaining to gardening,a cute wicker basket full of choclate easter bunnys and eggs, a bottle of light colored nail polish and I like the color very well, flower seeds,2 pkg mystery seed,1 asst. 3 pkg cosmos,1 yellow zinnis,1 cleome,rose queen and5 pkg blue forget me not and three real cut things that fasten to your flower pots, One is a hat with a butterfly and bug on it, one is a sunflower with 2 butterflys on it and the other one is a cute bird house that says welcome with a bird on the roof and a flower. My husband came in as I got the things out and he said thats just like Christmas, I also recieved my garden decorating package today from amy baby boy 3 and it was very nice also. I have e-mailed both to let them know I have received them. Thank you Stacy, I loved it all and you did make it special.. Happy Easter to all. I almost forgot, a little soda can that you take the lid off of , water,and it will grow a bean and it will have your secret fortunes message on the leaves. Caint wait to see it. Just wanted to wish everyone a HAPPY EASTER!!!!!

I just wanted to say hello to everyone here and to let everyone know how much I appreciate the kind thoughts and prayers. They mean alot! It has been a long haul already and today is even harder. I came over and fixed the dinner for everyone after they came home from church to come over. I had been home just a few days. I am so sorry that our boxes are late. To Cindi lippman, her box will be mailed as it was ready to go except for the live things.
My box also to plantlady jan is going as it was also ready except for the live things. I will mail in the next couple days when I go home. My mother wanted this box to be sent and I will do so. I am sorry that it is already going to be after Easter, but maybe things can be used next year with fond memories of my mother when you get the items.
Again, so sorry so late but we worked on them together and I want them to go.
I wish people could come and see my mother's gardens this year! They are outdoing themselves!! Absolutely gorgeous!
I have managed to put all of the wintersown items in the garden and they are already about double in size in a week!
She's definitely watching over them and keeping them good!
And Keets-please forgive for not posting how excited and wonderful my box was you sent me until after I had for a while! I truly loved everything in it and am thrilled with the daylily!!! Beautiful!! I called mom the day I got and we discussed and oohed and aahed about it! Thanks again.

Thank you so much for the great package. It came a few minutes ago, Rhiannon helped me open it. When the mailman brought the box, she went and got a knife to open it up. Right now she is throwing a fit, she had to have the garden tools opened up RIGHT now and wants to go out and dig:) The package was filled with wonderful things, 2 little girl flower fairies, a child sized painted watering can, tons of spring books, bulbs, seeds, notebooks, stickers, a spring puzzle, wind sock, spring banner, wind spinner, and lots of fun things for my girls. Most special is a bracelet with crystals and silver letter beads with both my girls names on them, I will try and take a pic. Thank you so much, it was what I really needed today, both girls were up early and we have had 60 mph winds the last 2 days so we have been cooped up inside.

Dianne, (SassyD) I'm finally getting around to saying a big THANK YOU for the bunny box. My son in law had given it a quick check for perishables and the stashed it out of sight and reach of the "boys".
There was lots of Chocolate, definately enough to share, even though the kids had a good stash of their own. Never was a way to have "too much" chocolate.LOL There were some cute decorations to make my new kitchen counters look festive for spring. I especially liked the ceramic bird house. It was such nice colors and I'll later find a home for it outside
The big Fairy with the lilly is so beautiful. That is now the second fairy I have gotten and I may eventually do a fairy garden like some of the others have written about. For now, she is staying inside and will sit on the coffee table when I finally get some furniture. She is now right by the front door as official welcoming spirit for the new house.
I know I'm fortgetting a bunch of stuff as it was a big box and packed full. I made a list but have not yet gotten everything unpacked here. I only have until May 23rd to work here and I'm just pulling things out of suitcases as I need them. It was really hard to leave the beautiful spring weather in MD and return here too work. I have lots too do here but I'm missing the blooms on the iris from last years swaps and planting. I'll need to wait another whole year to see what color they are. Something to really look foreward to.

Thanks so much Deb. It was a good swap and you were an extra good hostess for sending the back up packages. Sometimes things do "happen" but, a brief post letting the hostess or group know there is a problem makes life easier for all concerned.
Special thanks too, to Melinda who went way beyond the expected to fulfil promises under the very worst of circumstances. Marge will be missed but she leaves a real legacy to the GW group. This is a great place to be and the good always manages to far outweigh the bad.
