Some of my 2007 seedlings flowering for the first time. Hope you enjoy them, any comments would be welcomed.

While they are all nice, the second is exactly my type of eyed daylily.

I agree they are all very beautiful. If I was choosing from a catalogue I would choose no.2. My favourite shape in daylilies and love the colour combination and the fine edge...A BEAUTY. If that is their first season then the skies the limit. Well done.

Ms. Wade seemed to be a fine woman with many assorted tastes. I would have liked the quilts plus some of the chickens. Ok all of the chickens and all nick nacks. Add the dolls and the kitchen things, IE glassed , dinner ware etc. Many years ago I went to a sale like this for Auntie. My mom and I were there, in fact some of the firsts, and it was priced right. Yardman, they do that. The first year I had the 2 larger ones in-ground and in a shelter, even though there was a lot of dieback on the older fronds, the spears continued to emerge. This past winter, in the protected greenhouse under cover and with CFC bulbs for warmth (the Arctictropical method in honor of our friend Kevin from Utah who is such an inspiration) several of the palms continued to grow, albeit slowly. The gardens are along the back of our house. I have designed 3 mulched paths front to back so it goes path bed 1 path bed 2 then another path. Hubby made the 6x6 beds and filled in with organic soil and compost. I tried to draw it here... All of them look great. The last two are my favorites because of the colors and they don't look like any registered ones that I know.

They are all beauties! I love the roundness of the 1st one, the matching eye and edge of the 2nd one, the wonderful two toned eyezone of the 3rd one, the shape form and ruffles of th 4th and the color combo and double edge of the last one. If you need a southern test garden...I'm your gal!! :)

I like the color on #2 and #4, but the form on the other two (#1 has near perfect form IMHO). You can be proud of any of your seedlings.

Congrats...all beauties! Of the five, #1 is definitely my favorite. I think you should cross #1 (love those big fat round petals) with #3 (great eye).

Well,I am no pro and pretty new to daylilies,but I like all of them.They are all gorgeous to me,and I love the eyes in them.

#2 is my favorite. The form is perfect, and it looks as though the edge is double - purple, then thin white.

You've got several with beautiful form and beautiful colors.

I like the color transitios in #3 the best.

Very nice! I like 4 & 5, and would like a better look at 5's eye. Looks interesting.

I'll have to put my vote on #2, #3 and #4, although all of them look like worth daylilies.

Congratulations on those beauties - all of them! Do you know parentage? Are they all from the same cross or different crosses? I like them all, but if I had to pick favorites, it would be #2 and #4. Thanks for sharing these with us. Do you have more seedlings to share?
