Question about pickling salt substitutes

mogzilla

Hi! I've never made pickles before, but am stuck with a glut of Boothby's Blondes from the garden. The recipes I have for BWB pickles all call for pickling salt which according to the Ball book glossary is salt which doesn't contain iodine or anti-caking agents.

I have sea salt and kosher salt, both of which fit that description. Could I substitute either for the pickling salt?

TIA
