Bubbie's Kosher Dill Pickles

Anyone tried these? Would you consider them a full or half sour? They are salt brined with no vinegar. They are not exactly sour but do have a nice twang. You couldn't call them crisp by any stretch of the imagination but I do like the flavor. I didn't like them at first but found myself mysteriously drawn back to the jar. They have grown on me to the point that I'd like to try to make some. Any ideas on the length of fermentation?
