Dried Beans...Yet Again

Hello All,

Just canned some pintos. They came out well, but to my mind not perfectly. A bit too soft.

I wonder; have any of you had under-done beans after pressure canning? Though I had no problems with siphoning or swelling or headspace, the beans were a tad overdone for our tastes... Always seems to be the case???

And that's after cutting down the pre-cook time from a suggested 30 minutes to 15. My presoak was 14 hours.
