Don't you just love it when someone wants ID, but no pic?

I went to HD today and they had some nice looking white Cucurma Siam Tulip

Curcuma alismatifolia, Siam Tulip. Next to this they had some other plants also labeled Cucurma. The leaves closely resembled those of the Siam Tulip. However, the flower was very different. It was pendulous, almost looking like a fuschia bloom. The flower stalk was 18-24 inches long. The bloom was a purplish pink. It was raining a lot today, so no opportunity to take a picture. Plus I am having network and PC problems, so need to address those before I try to find the cable for the camera.

Does anyone have any guesses? I'm wondering about how much sun the mystery plant can take.

Thanks much,

Lynne
