Your Favorite ways to use Turnips and Beets

I have a nice harvest of Turnips and Beets that I will need to finish up with soon.

So far I've found that my favorite way to eat turnips is sliced up, drizzled with olive oil and oven roasted till the edges start to brown up and caramelize. I've tried freezing some turnips cooked this way but have yet to defrost and see if the results are satisfactory.

I also use turnips in soup and stew but that only uses a small amount of turnips.

I'm still working on expanding my tastes to include beets but since the other half and my mom both love beets, I grow them.

I'd love to hear how others like using these two crops to see if any of those ideas sound good to me.
