Thanks! With that in mind, would anyone like a fairly immature Tarocco branch for grafting purposes? About the first four inches looks a little more mature -- perhaps from last season? The last four inches grew in the last month or so. The whole branch is pretty flexible. It may be too young to graft, but I'd be happy to send it to someone rather than throw it away.

Howdy, Macca! Hmmmm, Citrus are typically re-potted in early Spring between flushes of growth. An out of season re-potting could certainly stress the plant and delay recovery. The Meyer is known to be a prolific bloomer, three times a year in many areas, so I think the response is to be expected for that tree. Did you resume fertilization after 2 weeks? I find that my Moro will develop yellow leaves very quickly if I don't keep the nutrients at adequate levels. Josh

JB made a good point, if it’s a seedling tree, yes it could take a lot longer to start bearing fruit. Starving your tree of nitrogen before new flushing is one way, but they still need micro,s and p, k., just don’t cut the tree down.

Hi Tony, The first leaf isn't a true leaf..It'll take even longer for the true leaves to form. Is your seedling getting sun? They need light to grow...and a mild dose of fertilizer. You didn't mention where you lived..What state are you in? If you live in a cold climate, with gray days nearing, your seedling will probably halt its growth. Keep seedling in a bright window, adding humidity. Do not allow soil to stay constantly wet..keep barely moist. Since winter is approaching, don't fertilizer after October. If possible, place plant under artificial light at night, even a few hours will help..If you have a light setup near a window, that'll be better. What size pot is the seedling growing in? You don't want to use too big a container..I find peat pots/pellets work fantastic, and they come in different sizes. 2 1/4" - 2 1/2" How about roots? Are they creeping out of the drainage hole? Toni
