It's Blood Orange Season Now!

Ciao all-

Happy New Year, first of all!

I put the canner away for a few weeks, but it's time to fire it up again now that blood orange season has arrived. I'm down to my last jar of 2009 Blood Orange Marmalade, but I'm also looking to branch out from the marmalade idea.

Please share your blood orange preserving recipes! I've never seen jellies made with citrus, but why not? Also, the idea of canning blood orange syrup sounds really appealing, no pun intended. If any of you have off-the-beaten-path citrus recipes for canning, I'd love to hear from you!
