90 degree days too hot?

Hello all. I have hearts of Gold Cantaloupe planted that I started from seed back around the end of January beginning of February. I kind of forget. I have 2 questions I hope you can help me with.

1. I have them growing up a trellis system and the vines are to the top, which is about 5 feet tall. Can I prune them and if I do, will that help the rest of the plants get more water and nutrients, or does that not matter?

2. I have a bunch that are starting to fruit, fruits are about size of a dime, how long until they are ready to harvest? I am worried with the already 90 degree days we are having that it might be too hot by the time i get to enjoy them.

Speaking of 90 degree days, my Tomotoes, cucumbers and zuccini are all starting to produce,,, will it be to hot for them to keep going, or should I expect to have to give up in a few weeks or so?

Thanks much for any help
