Another bird tragedy

yacheryl

Only this one could have been helped.

It was caused by humans.

My neighbors in back of me have large,

exotic birds - real screachers!!!!!!!

Two Fridays ago, we had 2 set of cardinals nesting

in the back yard with their young.

They sat their birds out and with-in seconds of them screaching,

the parent cardinals took off and did not come back.

We sat their and listen to those baby chicks die.

The female took off so fast,

she flew into my trellis, killing herself.

I am blessed, my yard is so full of differtent types of birds

at different times of day.

I provide shelter and water,

but I can't protect them from being scared

to death from the neighbors birds.

What do I do?

Everybodies out to protect the seabirds

and the eagles. Does anyone protect the cardinals, bluejays, wrens, etc.

I(along with the neighbors) have tried to talk to them.

They tell us all where to go

and it's not shopping............cheryl
