Spring Gardens / Dragon fruit (large photos)

Here are a few photos of my raised bed gardens. Today I harvested the first of the tomatoes. This is my first season starting everything from seed. For tomatoes I am trying "black sea man", "big rainbow", "Italian Ice", "fresh salsa", and "Orange Wellington". So far the black sea man are producing the largest tomatoes, and the Italian ice cherry tomato plants are growing the best. The Italian ice cherries have already outgrown their allotted space and it is early in the season.

Inside the cinder blocks are Creole garlic, strawberries, and herbs.

Jalapeno Gigante

West Indian gerkin

Horse radish

This is the first flush of dragon fruit this season. All my plants were planted last spring. Most are 1-year-old: some were started from cuttings. I count roughly 50 flowers on 3 plants. It is too bad the majority of them are on unknown self sterile Hylocereus polyrhizus. I hope they all open the same night.
