While I hate winter just because I really hate winter weather I really love spring and summer and fall here. It is just so pretty. I walk around the park often. It is open with mostly lawn, lots of big trees and some shrubs. The beach area is sandy and large. There is a fishing jetty which the fishermen like. If I get tired of open and want woodland trails I just keep walking as directly next to that park is a county nature preserve with nicely marked trails so you just walk thru from one to the other. I like to visit the pond area there that is fed by an underground spring. That has beach front also but you can't swim there, just walk along there. So I feel that I have all the benefits of a large estate grounds with none of the upkeep! I can look out the big picture window in my living room and actually see the water from my home.

That seedling is looking even prettier today. I love the teeth on it! On Ojo de Dios, it's good to see that flower that goes with that killer scape. Debra

Glad you liked the photos Debra and Jan! Debra - I really enjoyed the open garden tour, but I can't imagine having to deadhead a thousand daylilies! If you're interested, I have some more long shots of the garden that I didn't post because you can't see the daylilies that well, but you can see the overall layout better. I just got Mystic Mariner last fall and this is it's first season here, but I think it's going to be a favorite for me too! I hope All American Baby blooms for you - it's another of my favorites. I sometimes wish they were bigger too, but they are very cute the size they are. Juliet

Great group Sherry. Heavenly Breezes stands out and Bluegrass Memories looks wonderful with that gorgeous blue eye and green throat. Reminds me a lot of Lavender Blue Baby. I like the feverfew (?) with Coast To Coast. Nice background for that bloom.Happy Fourth to you too. Julia
