Tom...the skyvine and solanum are brown above ground, not sure if they'll come back or not. Just in case though, I took cuttings of the solanum. I use to have Thyrallis, but don't have enough sun for them anymore. I agree with the rest of you, it's just too much work lugging things in and out for every freeze and/or hurricane. I've been taking cuttings from my whitfeldia elongata and brunfelsia lactea as both grow fine in the shade and took the freezes well....so am blanketing the yard in them! Also quite surprised that my new Grand Duke jasmine is as green as the day I got it...must plant more of it, too. If it's still green after 2010 freezes, I'm planting it in mass in 2011, lol. I keep forgetting to tell everyone that I have a solar heated pool that you are invited to use if you'd like. Bring your own towels. The pool is NOT KID SAFE...it has sharp rocks around the edge and no screen. So no kids please. I also have pets...so don't bring yours and take your antihistamines if you're allergic, lol. Lori

a friend of mine gave me a bunch of crinum lilies. i took what i wanted and there are still a bunch left. i'm not sure what color they are but they have bloom spikes on them that should open soon OR i'll call my friend and find out what color they are. Lori...did you say you wanted some crinums?
