Tampa Swap-one week-new notes

I just wanted to remind everyone that I've invited some gardening friends and neighbors that aren't on GardenWeb.

And you're welcome to invite others as well.

So there will be other plants offered/needed then what's showing on the exchange page. So Laura, bring those daylilies!

11:00 am for Gardenwebbers and friends, told neighbors 1 pm

So let's have a garden party! By afternoon the patio is in full shade and is great to sit, relax, munch, drink and talk plants and gardening with new, local, friends. Can you bring some munchies? Pool is heated and inviting, bring your suits and towels if you want to float around in the garden.

No young kids or pets please (the pool is in ground with sharp rocks around edges and no kid fence, it's not safe for young ones. I also have lots of pets, some not friendly to other pets.)

If you have allergies to pets or trees, take your meds, I have a lot of both.

I started a list on the Fl. Exchange to list what we have/want as suggested.

a friend of mine gave me a bunch of crinum lilies. i took what i wanted and there are still a bunch left. i'm not sure what color they are but they have bloom spikes on them that should open soon OR i'll call my friend and find out what color they are.

I have some white bulbs potted up for the swap. I'd love to have some other colors.

Would anyone be interested in a no-crank, water powered, hose reel? or how about WoodStock Garden Bells? They're both going into the swap/trade pile.

OMG..I have almost procrastinated to long. I have been seeing that sign up the road now for 3 years and just decided to do something about it. I'm a newbie at this sorta thing so please,..be gentle. I have 2 chiquita banana plants,1 smooth cheyanne pineapple. Bromeliad pup cuttings...Fireball, variegated galaposa(matchstick),1 tillansia hybrid that needs a good home.Some ice plant and maybe some orchid cuttings. I have but 1 final question about this whole thing. You mention food and drink. Enough for personal consumption? Enough to share or shall I break out the Chef Cordon Blue Army Battalion cookbook.

I agree on the prince of orange philo identification. I got bromeliad similar to your last picture at tropiflora for a buck also. Mine is struggling but I am hoping it has a baby.

I just want to mention to those who have "nothing to swap" to come on anyway. I don't want to swap I want to give things away. I'm getting a number of things together and just want to share my extras.
