The cure for cabin fever... is your local nursery!

Several days straight here without getting out and working in my garden and I had some pretty bad cabin fever. Scheduled a visit to Coenosium gardens, grabbed some cash and sped down there like a kid going down the stairs on Christmas morning.

Came away with a slew of new gems and just in time. The rain washed away most of the 15+" of snow. Here are some pictures of my favorites. I shot them inside so they'd have some light. You can see one of the reasons I keep going back to Coenosiums, compared to a lot of nurseries, they have very large, healthy stock. That and of course most of it very hard to come by anywhere else.

Enjoy!

Chief Joseph. This is a larger size(I believe 3-5 gal.) and only available for pickup. Worth the drive!

Argh... ugly lighting inside, I'll have to wait until these are in the ground to give you proper perspective of their color. I've added a few anyway for the curious.

Pinus mugo 'Sunshine'

Pinus strobus 'Sarah Rachel'

Abies koreana 'Silberkugel' and Abies larsocarpa 'Lopalpun'

I'll try and get some shots tomorrow, hopefully fully planted!
