A seedling and some clumps....(pix)

This is one of the Paul Owen seedlings I purchased last fall. It's been consistently double and has bloomed well. All of the Owen dl's that I have, registered and seedlings, have been outstanding performers and are some of the most robust plants in my garden.

Now a few clump shots from this weekend.

I love this one, it's so bright and cheery, Indian Ripples.

Lord Of Rings hasn't been in my garden for long, but has put on quite a show this season.

I know I've posted shots of this one before, but it's such a beauty and I can't resist making photos of it when it's showing off so well. :) Savannah Explosion, again! LOL

And one more that I've shown previously but I love these late bloomers that put on a huge display. Walter Jablonski

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Indian Ripples! Lord of Rings is gorgeous too, I love those colors.

I love the clump of Indian Ripples, so pretty. Your Paul Owen seedling is quite usual looking and a very nice double.

Nice clumps shots. I have to ask about your ICE CARNIVAL as I've been told the true color has a yellowish tint and not very white. Your pic shows it to appear very white. Do you think in different parts of the country the bloom shows differently? Last year mine bloomed more with a yellowish tint but as the day progressed it turned more white. This one has me perplexed as the scapes came up this year very thick like a tet. I also have Eenie. Hope it blooms this year as last year it did not. Great shot of it. I think though I will have to get rid of it. When I bought it I didn't realize just how short the scapes are. I have not seen a scape yet on Trahlyta but after today's rain maybe I can venture out tomorrow to check. If yours is just having its FFO now, I guess I have a longer wait than I thought for my first bloom. Thanks for sharing your pics. Julia

Thank you Val. Some are better than others but improvement is on the way. It's been very hot for the last few days and we are supposed to get some rain wed nite and Thurs. That will help!! Linda, that's pretty much why she was named that. Frank Smith said some kept repeating " Fabulous" as they went through the garden so, hence, her name. Thanks you guys. :) Chris and Sharon...this is BS 3rd year in my garden also, and it's first year to bloom, but man has it ever been blooming. I figured the drought from the past 2 years probably resulted in no blooms on it until now, as it has on some other of my dl's. IMO however, BS was worth waiting for. Jan

Ireally like INDIAN RIPPLES, too and it don't make no difference if you have posted them before,We will look at them every time you post them.I love seeing them over and over,they are so beautiful.

Indian Ripple is awesome and I bet it's an eyecatcher in the garden too.

Walter Jablonski probably doesn't get the attention that IR does, but you're so right about the late bloomers. Maybe they know they can't compete with the others so they wait a little longer to make their appearance:) Then they can really shine!
