New (To ME) Plants...

manature

I found a couple of interesting plants in the annuals section of a local nursery, but don't really know anything about them, and was hoping someone here might.

This one is sanvitalia or creeping zinnia (though not related to zinnias at all). I did find some info when I googled it, but would still like to know if any of you have grown it. It is supposed to spread and trail, and be good in hanging baskets, so that's where I put it. But did you ever see a more perfect mound in your life?

Here's a closer view of the sweete little flowers.

Now this one had a label on the side of the pot that said James Britinia. The nursery guy couldn't tell me anything about it at all...typical! And I can't find a thing when I google. The flowers are very small...maybe 1/2"...and resemble calibrachoa or million bells, but more mallow like. And the leaves are very different...ferny, like some verbenas. Anyone ever grow this? Does anyone know it by another name? Absolutely any info at all would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Marcia
