I picked up 3 really nice cane (angel wing) begonias with vivid leaf markings, my Mussaenda flava, daylilies from Beachlily, a couple of beautiful broms from the bromeliad society (glad I passed up the extremely expensive ones from the other vendor!), a 'husker red' penstemon, a blue-eyed grass, a pretty tile trivet for my neighbor who was having a dinner party Sat night, a tall red salvia, and a ratcheting clipper. I may be missing something but that's about it. I filled up my little red cart. The prizes were the muss, the angel wings and the broms. The rest was just frosting on the cake. I had a great time, as always. I tried to get into the Leu sales area to say 'howdy' to Eric but he was the Belle of the Ball and you couldn't get near him! LOL! Kate

No hybrids will be used. This establishes a fresh Seed Bank as well. Current and future goals are: raised-bed gardens, grains, water supply, storage and greenhouse. We are asking for a tax deductible donation to start "seed" money for such a project. Should such a project fail, monies would be donated to the local food pantry and people would still be fed. Projected Budget- $500 establishes the garden plot including seed. $3600 establishes a greenhouse and storage area. Overall projected budget of operation to start is $4100. I'll name what was sent in for me all stapled up as I am looking my theme swap seeds. jensyen sent one for each of my themes.,poisondart sent me 5 commercial packets jaynine..I got 3 packets of petunia excerta"i'm sure you only sent one special for me>, I think I will have enough of them to last a couple of seasons! Jaynine also sent var. dames rocket...yay! panhandle sent me 2 special packets of seeds labeled please do not touch, they are from ishares wishlist. She also sent bells of Ireland. I got a good chuckle out of them labeled that way! yotetrapper sent me 3 packets one is ivy leaves mg .Primrose sent me a couple of nice arisaemas ,dem-pa sent sweet sultan, hollyhock pink and celosia pink .promise sent 3 packs of seeds, bells of Ireland being one of them. Susiequsi sent some petunias...Susie, keep your eye out for an email from me. I wish I could list them all but I had lots with no players name on them so I am unable to mention you here. Jeannie, I got the most packets from you ,20/25, you didn't need to throw those in to fill in. I didn't need to get anywhere near the same number of packets back. Oh, another interesting packet was labeled" a bit of a mystery, blue flower on wispy stem" no player name on the packet though...I'm thinking nigella, YOU? I'm very curious to know who the person was that played but didn't get seeds back. I didn't have anything from anyone not getting seeds back "not that this is a problem, I don't always have something for everyone either!>....just that curiosity killed the cat and what he found out brought him back...haha. ANYONE WHO HASNT GOTTEN THEIR SEEDS PLEASE READ including Spacetogrow and sigma3 can you post your wishlist so I can print it for her, went by this morning and she has no computer access at the moment and has not been able to get on the forums. She said anyone who hasn't gotten their seeds she will need your addresses so she can mail compensation and any seeds she might have on your lists and also if you can remember about how many you sent it . if anyone wants a gift certificate to baker creek heirloom seeds she is willing to send that as compensation as well.
