Blue eye and edge tet daylilies? which is the best?

Hi all, was wondering which of the latest daylilies is the best blue eye and edge tet daylilies.

A friend of mine who imports US daylilies has had quite a few daylilies supposedly blue eye and edge and found most to be more pink lavender than blue? This grower thinks the Kelly Mitchell; DAN MACK MITCHELL is possibly the best?

Most of the web sites of the well known breeders use photo shop to change the colors, like to know if any one has tried some of the latest blue tet daylilies and found them to be quite blue ?

I don't have any blue eyed intros from this year or last. What is your goal for such daylilies? Do you just want to grow a blue-eyed daylily, or do you want it as a hybridizing parent. So many factors affect daylily color. Most of the so-called blue-eyed daylilies look very blue in my hot, humid climate. But they don't look blue in the cooler parts of the U.S. like the Pacific Northwest. These are some I have with blue-lavender or blue eyes that look blue to me:

Asian Fairy Bluebird
Cerulean Warbler
Ada May Musick
Violet Tranquility
Bobby Martin
Jitterbug Blues
Mrs. John Cooper
Texas Blue Eyes

I would take the recommendation of someone who lives in your part of the world before parting with big bucks.

I see what you mean. Had forgotten about that cold effect.

Lavender Blue Baby grows and flowers well here and the blue is ok as well as Mildred Mitchell.
Just considering hybridizing for blue eyes & edges a bit like Bluegrass Music.Though feel that I will just be happy with what I have already.

Egads, I love them all, I think the best coloring comes out of your EXOTIC TRESURE X BLUE LAKE cross I really love your seedling X seedling as well. I have almost all of these parents coming out of different crosses to bloom next year, sigh, I wish it wouldnt take up to 3 years to bloom up here. But now I CANT wait after seeing your crosses, Im hoping for one or two stunners like yours!!! I would rate these as my next two favs SEA OF POSSIBILITY X SPANISH FIESTA GOD SAVE THE QUEEN X BLUE LAKE I love those consistent teeth, on your bass gibson kid! I didn't respond to this post before because I knew it would get me to looking at Chris Rogers intro's again. She and Dan Hansen have some intros that have eye no edges. I spent hours on his website before drooling. I will eventually order a couple from him. Here are two that definitely caught my eye in this category. There are more if you look through the photos on his website, Ladybug Daylilies. Pat Stamile also has some new ones in this category. Tipped in Rouge is one I like, and Edged in Pink. Ruby Border is a new intro for this spring. Pat is working with Tet Beautiful Edgings in his program. All pictures are by hybridizer. Yes Regency Heights is a real looker , if you have a chance to add it I highly recommend it I have had Regency Heights for a number of years . Then two years ago I dug it up mid summer to trade a piece and replanted . I am guessing the drought stressed it to the point that when winter came with no snow cover it succumbed due to my stupidity .. Replaced it last year as I had done back flips trying to track this one down originally. It is quite hardy but conditions here have been dreadful the last few years so I don;t dig mid summer anymore.
