I just thought I had too many today to put all of them in one thread.

POOR MS BLACKIE got so tired following me around helping with pictures, she just had to find a shady place to rest a m inute.

almost forgot, wal mart has all kinds of little solor things for the yard,Smaller Butterflys and flowers that look like glass but they some kind of heavy plastic and they are so pretty at night.Heres a flower and its really pretty at dark,

Wow, Jean you have lots and lots blooming. I am trying to choose a favorite. SPACECOAST STARBURST looks really stunning and I always love the cheerful blooms of TIC TAC TOE so they tie for favorite for me.

It is bloom time in the South! I like several of them, but I think Big Yellow Taxi really stands out...and Ms. Blackie, of course.

Thanks guys! It's nice to share with people who really love dl's also. My family is beginning to get annoyed. My 7yo daughter rolls her eyes everytime I mention the word daylily. lol maximus - You have many, many dl's that I would love to grow here. Thanks Rita. You really can't see the blooms in this shot because it so far away. I was up on the porch.. SW is a pretty good one. I was surprised you liked the teeth on Floota's thread..Ellie Yep Kay, I like that cross too! I am surrounded my woods and have a tough time with mulch. You see that I have very little.. Glad you enjoyed it.. Thank you Julia. I don't do much now with diploids but Flambouyant Eyes does have pretty kids. That one has a wonderful pleated edge. 2nd year to bloom.. Vickie, I do sit there a lot but the other side of the yard is shadier. I have a canvas swing there where I sit and look at the daylily patches. Yay for swings... Thanks for looking!! Ellie

Thanks for the nice comments everyone. Rita, I picked up June Hudson last year locally. It was gorgeous in that garden. I didn't see any splotchiness. The first couple blooms here this year were splotchy. I don't know if it will be like that all the time or if it was due to the heavy rains we got the nights before they opened. There were 3 open in that picture and the other 2 were splotchy. I hope it will straighten out because I do love it. It's one of DH's favorites also. Christine, HHP was one that DH had to have. I do like it a lot though. The plant next to it is a Ninebark Diablo shrub. It has really taken off this year and I'm going to need to move HHP and Meet Joe Black which is on the other side of the shrub. Michelle

Remy- It could be WISESTS OF WIZARDS but I don't know. There are a bunch of them that look too similar to me that I have which are MINSTRALS FIRE, LEE PICKLES and CONTINENTAL HOLIDAY. Of the three, the palest eyezone is in WISEST OF WIZARDS. Still even that changes from flower to flower. You can see that my two flowers were not exactly the same color and that was not a trick of the light. Here is CONTINENTAL HOLIDAY for comparison. I don't have pictures now of the others.

How nice to step away from the rain outside to see these beauties. I know you don't think it is a good picture, but I like Palace Garden Beauty the best!

ELECTRIC MARMALADE MAGIC & Spacecoast Starburst. Ms Blackie is always my favorite though.

I am lovin Big Yellow Taxi! All of them are beautiful and Miss Blackie looks like a princess cat, so cute.

I have a suggestion to use on Palace Garden Beauty---hold
your camera a bit further from the flower.

I hope this works for you, it has for me.

Rita, Thank you,Tic Tac Toe is a little blurry,I kept waiting between each picture for the wind to die down a little,But it didnt stay down but seconds.Very windy.

Kay,I really love Big Yellow Taxi, too. I am watching it close as I may have to dig it back up and pot it,Its down to one fan and I know I had at least 2 when I planted it.

Vickie.Its a beautiful daylily when one can get a decent picture of it.

Nancy, thanks for the nice commens,and I think Ms Blackie would thank you too.Shes a mess,She stays so close to me,I have to look to see where shes at, before I take a step outside.I dont want to fall over her and hurt myself and surely dont want to step on her either.

Nice blooms, so glad you are getting so many pretty ones. I really like Ebony Pools, and Ms. Blackie!!! Cuban Skies is a nice eyed one too!!

Can't believe how many you have blooming! I hardly have any scapes yet. Miss Blackie is my favorite, but I really like Ebony Pools and Electric Marmalade Magic too.
