Fire On The Mountain - new this spring. Received a single fan and hasn't increased yet but is putting up a 2nd scape now. Should I cut off one of the scapes?

More lovely blooms. Web of Intrigue is on my wish list. I have Autumn Wood, always seems to have perfect blooms doesn't it. Wish I could answer about the scapes on your new daylily. I can never cut them off, but it makes sense to cut it off so it can develop a better root system. I'm sure you will get an expert answer though.

Rita, Thank you,Tic Tac Toe is a little blurry,I kept waiting between each picture for the wind to die down a little,But it didnt stay down but seconds.Very windy. Kay,I really love Big Yellow Taxi, too. I am watching it close as I may have to dig it back up and pot it,Its down to one fan and I know I had at least 2 when I planted it. Vickie.Its a beautiful daylily when one can get a decent picture of it. Nancy, thanks for the nice commens,and I think Ms Blackie would thank you too.Shes a mess,She stays so close to me,I have to look to see where shes at, before I take a step outside.I dont want to fall over her and hurt myself and surely dont want to step on her either. Kay - Technically, Tiffany Jewels is lavender. But some days it looks peachy and others pinky. Nancy VB - Isn't Lots of Laughter a great name? Rita - Thanks for your comment about Coral Majority. I'm hoping to get a better photo of that one. It may photograph better in direct sun. Kathy - I'm so pleased about how Purify My Heart went with those companion plants. well, debra, my el desperado didn't bloom at all last year, so I dug it up and put it in a pot with some good pottig soil and now its blooming and has lots of buds, now.Its such a pretty bloom..Kay's must not be blooming yet either, but when it does its a beauty Thank you, tammy and kay nancy, Avedon, thank you for looking and the comments. Loaves and Fishes is my very favorite, really ike the Band Played on too. We're having some nice weather here too, or I should say, we have been. Low 80s the last few days, supposed to stay cool, but start raining the next few days. Weatherman has been predicting rain every day for the last week or more, but we haven't had a lot of it here. All around us. I really want to spray & kill off some grass so I can move some of my daylily seedlings. I always plant the seeds too close, assuming that some of them won't grow, then they are right on top of each other, can't tell which is which & who knows how well they will do or won't til they have their own space. One of these days I'll learn. Chance Encounter starts off not opening well here too, but after the first few blooms it does well & is really a pretty daylily. I can see it might have problems in cooler areas though, hope it works out for you.

Are you kidding?? This is one of the few places where you can post pictures to your heart's content. No one ever tires of pictures here!

Wonderful pictures...we have similar taste on some...lol...especially enjoy that poly on Web of Intrigue.

Wow, we have similar taste -- I grow all of these except ORCHID ICE, and I could happily have that one live here, too. Beautiful photos.

Thanks guys! It's nice to share with people who really love dl's also. My family is beginning to get annoyed. My 7yo daughter rolls her eyes everytime I mention the word daylily. lol
maximus - You have many, many dl's that I would love to grow here. We should work out a trade this fall or next spring. :)
lalalandwi - ARK gets better as the season goes on. I love that one.
