Winter sowing 2007

Time to start, then! Our weather has been less than condusive to winter sowing. It was great in late December, early January but i didn't have any seeds that needed stratification. Now, thanks to a couple of trades, i do, and i've started. Yesterday i sowed:

1. Myrrhis odorata 'Sweet Cecily'

LOL That's it! And you thought i was going to have a big long list! This year, my problem is going to be containers. I have lots of the strawberry ones left over from last year, but i like doing the ones that are going to be outside the longest in milk jugs and i had exactly one of those. Our store here was never supposed to be selling them in the first place and maybe the Milk Police came after them or something because they don't sell them anymore. I guess i'll have to put up a sign advertizing for people to save the gallon jugs they buy water in. We don't buy water because our well in on a spring, so there's no need to.

Maybe i'll have more to report next weekend. :)
