The night owls are up and looking at your pictures--told you it was an addiction. Really pretty group, and I especially love the last three eyed d.lilies. Trouble appears to be a very good guardian, thanks for sending his(her?) picture. Avedon

I once had a hanging basket that had upwards of 30 or more blooms at once. This was in the days before digital cameras and I had no film in my old 35 mm. I had been watching the buds for days, and then one night about 10:30 I smelled the most delicious fragrance wafting in the bedroom window. It was blooming! Bob was asleep, the neighbor's lights were out so I had no one to share the magical event with. As Jim says all were gone by early morning. But I'll never forget it! People often thought it was a stag horn fern as it hung from low branches of a pecan tree by the pool. It was a huge and heavy thing and I'd lug it in the family room for the winter. One winter I didn't take it down in time to save it from freezing. :-( Oh well, beauty like fame is sometimes very fleeting, but I'm thankful for the memory.

Glad you were looking closely, Dink. Our town has finally decided to change some 2-way stops to 4-way stops hoping to stop so many accidents in that area. I don't know if that will help or not, but I doubt it. Ruthie, I love your reply to DH about the other idiots! I had a routine eye exam last week, and when I mentioned the incident about hitting a rut in the road, the Tech asked me if I think I am a safe driver. Of course I said Yes. I think we're all jumping the gun here and skittish because of the change we just went through - we knew it was coming but they pulled the rug without giving us a date. Seems they were doing some maintenance the other night and nothing more but I think setting up a meeting place on the Houzz forums is a great idea in the unlikely event that our GW side disappears one day - I think we're safe to assume the Houzz side would remain. Whoever sees it first can go over to the What Are You Working On forum and send up a a signal flag - GW MEMBERS HERE or something!!! daisychain - our group did have a long advance warning with a specific date when all MSN groups would be shut down. Our group managers had the ability to email en masse and we did that multiple times to hopefully catch everyone. That gave us time to research other options, but as I said, after 2 other host changes we are on facebook now. I'm sure there are some members who lost us along the way with the changes and others who won't join us because it's now on fb, but that's life - there is an ebb and flow to these groups that would happen anyway.

New Elevations, Please Review (Epiphany Late Last Night)

So for those who are interested, I did some elevations for the inside too. Just for some of the details to show my builder. these were done in photoshop by me so are not 100. the first one is the divider between the kitchen/dining and the great room. Yes I know that all natural wood is more craftsman but I wanted a lighter look and paint grade is a lot less expensive than furniture grade moldings. Especially since my wood of choice is cherry. Yes the columns will also be triangular like the porch columns. :) the fireplace wall is opposite the kitchen entry and that wall will be cherry. there will be handmade tile around the fireplace. I am considering doing a coffered ceiling in the living room again using paint grade and then painting the ceiling itself in a color. I'm not sure yet whether I'll go with a picture rail or a frieze board. I'm leaning towards the frieze board. Crown molding will be simple to work with the rest of the moldings. Maybe this for crown molding.

You have some really great looking blooms I also like eyes and patterns in my eyes. My favorite though is Trouble what a great photo of your helper.

Very pretty blooms! I love the eyezones. And being a cat-person, I think that Trouble has the prettiest eyes of them all.

Thanks so much everyone! Trouble is our adoped manx kitty. He thinks he is the ranch security manager. But, don't tell Roman, the Great Dane, as he thinks he is ranch security too!!! hahaha

I will have to find a good pic of Roman to post.
