succulent dish, are they compatible

I picked this dish up at Lowe's for a couple dollars. I posted a picture on HP forum and someone recommended I post here. They said the plants may not be compatible. I would love some feedback. Do I need to seperate them? What are the names of these succulents?

Do I need to separate them? Yes, would also suggest to use fast draining gritty mix for soil when re-potting them.

What are the names of these succulents?

Left side nine o'clock :Defiantly a Kalanchoe maybe it's K.Flap Jacks as it is the most common one used for these pots at the big box stores.
Center of pot: Portulacaria afra: Has flatter thinker round shaped foliage.
Right of center at near two o'clock: Crassula Gollum Taller ande bubble shaped compact foliage

They need trimming back once separated.And more light. I think the wide leafed thing that was Ided as a Kalanchoe might be a graptoveria ( cross between Echeveria and graptopetalum. Hard to say.Things are pretty warped.

Welcome to this fabulous hobby - as you're finding out, these plants grow well in temperate zones (at least in the summer). Once you get these down, you'll want to expand your collection to include cold-hardy stuff, too, but what you have is a good start. 1) Because they worship at the altar of Mammon and don't really care about the plants. 2) Warmth, some air movement and bright light (most of the day), along with a daily spritz, will get these cacti pieces rooted - then you can pot them up. 3) Pictures would be great, but that sounds all too true - they're called glufers and I hates 'em forever (said in a Gollum voice). It sounds like you're doing things right - you might look at some of the posts here which have lots of responses, as it offers you a greater chance to turn your sponge into a Shamwow and get a lot of exposure to these plants of ours.

Thank you very much for coming along with me on these plantings. Josh: I keep cutting back the "pool portion" of the fountain whenever I see someone "misbehave"... But I think I will also need to thin them as well since the echeverias and semperviviums at the base are almost covered. You know what - last month, while moving the "fountain", I carelessly made the top part topple over! Luckily not much damage was done to the burrito, although it fell out of the pot, roots and soil! Whew, learnt my lesson. From then on, when I had to move it, I took the upper part off the base. Xuan

Mr. White - I'd pot them into two separate pots. The ones in the back will grow quite large on their own and the ones in the front can "trail" out of the pots the ones in the back are in, towards the sun. :) My 2 cents, anyway. Grace

I agree w/ Wanton, that's likely an Echeveria, thought that when I first saw it, it's not a Kalanchoe.

They'd best be separated, they have different watering needs, even if they mostly like sun.

I was guessing the mystery 9 o'clock one was Aeonium, maybe nobile.

My guess is that the P. affra and the Crassula Gullom could grow together and the Echeveria and light silver sedum like plant, possible a pachyveria *not secure on that ) but I have had luck growing those kinds of plants together.

I forgot to say that the leaves of the silver plant will make babies. And one can cut it back and make it branch out nicely.

Not an ideal preference at all for most of us. If you must you could but do reconsider, for example:

For a while both the P afra and C. Gollum could go in the same pot but thinks you'd be better off setting these two as separate stagings.

If in an event where one plant may need unforeseen attention in a separate pot would be better than BOTH plants needing attention in the same pot.

When both have grown more re-potting them would also cause some root separating problems.
I think we all see the five plants but I'm not sure what the unnamed ones are and agrees the so called by me K flap jacks isn't K. flap jacks at second glance.

I really appreciate every ones help. I did cut the tall plant back to make it branch out. which I believe is the
Portulacaria afra:
there is also which you cant see, but I believe its called string of peas.
Thanks again I will update when everything is re potted. First I have to find the proper medium.
