leaves falling off lime tree

inportugal

Hi. I bought a little lime tree, almost 3 ft high at a nursery, three weeks ago. It sits in the sun and I've been watering it daily--maybe too much? and with fertilizer 2-3 times a week. I repotted it when I got it home, taking care to leave some of the roots around the trunk exposed. But the problem is it is losing leaves, about 3-4 a day, and some blossoms. Pretty soon there will be none left! What could the problem be? I don't see any aphids or the like, except I did find some on a plant next to it, which I sprayed. Any suggestions? Thanks!
