Ernest Markham vs Ville de Lyon

I have an arbor 8' tall, 4' deep and painted white. It is in full sun. I was hoping to mix/match a couple of clematis this year (2 on each side). I was thinking of combining Victoria with either Ville de Lyon or Ernest Markham. I can't tell the subtle differences in the shading of the above cultivars as to how well each would/wouldn't complement Victoria. Can anyone who has grown these cultivars offer some guidance or suggestions?
Thanks!
