Grass invading flower bed

Hey, all -- I dug up a two foot border at the edge of the lawn and planted a flower bed next to the rest of the existing lawn... and I'm getting invasive weedy grass growing into the flower bed. Some of it travels over the rock border, some of it comes up from underneath the soil. I think this is crabgrass and bermuda grass, not the nice Marathon sod we originally planted. The lawn is in a bit of a state...

Any advice on the lawn issue would be helpful, but besides treating the lawn, is there anything I can do about this? Would a deep border separator make a difference?

Thanks!
