Keeping cactei and succulents outside during the summer.

Hi,

I am a student living in Wales, UK and I have about 10 succulents and cactei that I have to keep somewhere during the 2-3 months I have a vaction during the summer.

My options are two, I can either leave the plants inside where they will recieve little to no water. Or I could leave them outside where there's a big chance of a lot of rain.

Does anyone have any tips on how I can solve this in a way that is best for the plants? Any inventions or ideas that allows the plants to have some water outside, but not all the rain? The temperature will be around 20C degrees day and night during the summer, if sunny around 30C.
