Can someone help me identify this succulent?

Hello, all. I'm new here. I was hoping someone would be able to help me identify this plant. I bought it from bbg a few years back and like a silly goose I never asked what type of plant it was nor did it have an official label on it. My dog got to it and destroyed it and I haven't found a plant like it since. I'm hoping having the name would help me get one again someday.
After searching the web I came across a plant that looked very similar and was wondering if maybe they were the same type or at least in the same family. Does anyone know if this is a Kalanchoe Tomentosa?

The picture is not a very good one but at the time I didn't know I would only have a few pictures to remember it by. :/

The plant itself had a soft velvet like feel to it including the leaves. Mostly green but the leaves had a hint of brown on them and although it doesn't seem like it in the picture, the tips of the leaves jutted out a bit and there were more than one point on each leaf. Hope that makes sense. In other words, the leaves' edges weren't smooth all the way to the tip, there were several small tips along the edges of the leaves (this was what had the hint of brown on them). I hope that's enough info along with the picture to help make a good ID on this former beauty. All this is from memory and the few unfocused pictures I have. I appreciate any and all feedback.

That looks like a panda plant in the genus Kalanchoe

Teengardener1888, thank you for your input, that's what I was thinking but I want to be 100% positive. I miss that plant dearly. :/

Okay...back again. The succulent I found that is closest to looking like yours is Portulaca molokiniensis. I have no personal experience with this plant & have never seen it in person, so I cannot vouch for the veining in the leaves being the same. But...take a look at the links below & see what you think. If/when it blooms, you could confirm. Laura It shouldn't be difficult to separate them - there seems to be lots of space between individual plants. You can behead them - chop off top part of plant (best to use sharp knife), let callous and pot up. You can pot up lower part (leftover trunk with roots) & you could get some new babies sprouting from it. It would be good to improve your potting mix, this one looks pretty peaty (hard to tell from your photo). They would enjoy more gritty mix - much better drainage. There are some skinny & tall plants in the background - are they succulents? Sorry I can't ID them for you as I only grow a limited range of succs, and not these. I can say that they are mostly etiolated/stretched out due to lack of light. I'm pretty sure they should all be growing in rosettes close to the soil, not on long stems like those in the purple pot. Your mix could use more perlite than you have already, it apppears to be rather heavy on the peaty component which can lead to root rot if you're watering is more than needed, or if they stay wet for too long being kept outside. Old, already etiolated growths will not revert to 'proper' growths, only the new growth will be tight....if given the correct lighting that is. Gill

Yes, that's Kalanchoe tomentosa. There are also cultivars known as 'Chocolate Soldier', 'Golden Girl' and 'Super Fuzzy'.

Just bought one. So happy! Inexpensive. Beautiful. I just love it. Went to 3 different stores but found it hiding on a shelf in the back of the 3rd store I visited. Love it! Thank you, both for all your help in confirming the identity.

Let me tell you, if you love Kalanchoe fuzziness, you will love this one also...K. beharensis 'Fang'.

It will grow very easily from leaves too; just let them sit on top of souil & it will grow.
If it gets too tall, you can snip it, leave part with the roots in pot, let other part callus over & then stick in the soil.

I was in a hurry last night when I responded. The plant in the first pix looked like 'Choc Soldier' to me then. That's why Jeff is referring to his decoder ring not seeing it. Ha ha! I was wrong. Now, seeing last pic, it looks like K. tomentosa, as he said earlier. Sorry for confusion!
